The history of Weg

Weg Electric was founded during the European industrial revolution in 1836. The company specialized in the steel industry, shipbuilding, heavy machinery, and later in the electricity industry as well. To date, Schneider Electric is mainly concerned with developing technologies and software to better manage energy and processes.
