CONTROL TECHNIQUES

For over 40 years, Control Techniques, which is part of the Nidec Corporation, has been a front leader of customer-focused drive technology. From their 45 automation centers around the world, they provide industries with advanced automation solutions.

The history of Control Techniques

Control Techniques was originally founded in 1972 in Newtown, Wales. Their vision was to provide a new drive that met the needs of the market. As they grew, so did their network. This led to a wave of product innovations, including the Commander AC and the Mentor, the world’s first digital DC drive. In 2017 the company joined the Nidec Corporation and is now connected to approximately 300 companies who employ 110,000 people worldwide.
